Contour terms
The short version: use it sensibly, check what matters, and your scans are yours.
License. Contour is licensed to you for use on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Don't reverse-engineer it, resell it, or use it to break the law.
Measurements are estimates. This is the clause that matters. Contour is honest about its accuracy — that's the point of the app — but every number it produces is derived from phone sensors and is an estimate. Always verify any measurement that matters with a tape or laser before you cut material, order goods, sign a contract, or make a structural, safety, or legal decision. Contour is not a substitute for a professional survey, and I'm not liable for decisions made from its numbers.
Your content. Your scans, models, notes, and exports are yours. They live on your device (and in your own iCloud if you enable sync) — see the privacy policy. You're responsible for what you scan and for keeping your own backups.
No warranty. Contour is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. I work hard to make it accurate and reliable, but you use it at your own risk.
