Dispach is moving to a new home. On July 1, 2026.

After a year of building Dispach in the studio, it's joining an indie team building a full freelancer toolkit. The app keeps running. Your data is yours. This page is everything I know about what changes and what doesn't.

Transfer date: July 1, 2026 No interruption to service Data export available through July 2028

Dispach is becoming part of a bigger toolkit for freelancers.

On July 1, 2026, ownership of Dispach transfers to an indie team building a full tool set and system for freelancers. Dispach becomes a core piece of that toolkit — proposals, invoices, time tracking, clients, analytics, everything it does today — alongside the rest of what they're building.

The team is small, focused, and exactly the right size for what Dispach needs next. I'm not naming them publicly yet at their request; they'll introduce themselves on or shortly after the transfer date.

Time and focus. Honestly that's the whole answer.

The studio is one person. Dispach grew faster than I could give it the attention it needs to become the product its users deserve. The team taking it over has both the time and the freelancer-specific focus to take it further than I can, and that's the right move for the people using it.

I love Dispach. Finding it a home that can give it more attention than I can is the right ending, not a sad one. The opposite outcome — me holding onto it and letting it stagnate because the studio's attention is split four ways — would have been the bad ending.

If you use Dispach today, here's what to expect.

The app keeps running.
No interruption. On July 1, ownership transfers; the App Store listing, the web app at dispach.co, and your account all carry over to the new team. Nothing breaks. You won't have to download a new app.
Your data is yours — for at least two more years.
Data export will be available through July 2028. That's two full years to take your clients, invoices, proposals, and time logs with you in standard formats (CSV, JSON, PDF) if you ever want to. You won't need to; the new team is keeping the product running. But the option is there as long as you might want it.
You'll hear from the new team.
Shortly after July 1 they'll send a welcome note with their roadmap, contact info, and any account migration steps. No action needed before then. If they need anything from you to make the handoff smooth, they'll tell you in plain English with plenty of lead time.
Pricing won't suddenly change.
Free continues to be free. The new team gets to decide their own pricing model long-term, but any changes will come with notice and existing users won't be retroactively charged for what's been free.
Your data stays where it is — and who sees it doesn't change.
Operational access transfers to the new team (they need it to keep the app running), but no data is being sold, re-sold, or handed to a third party as part of this transaction. The data the app has about you continues to be governed by Dispach's privacy policy.
The studio continues

Kuhlman.Co isn't going anywhere.

Weather.Co just went free for every pilot, on every feature. Tmpo is in TestFlight. There's a working lab with 44 specimens that hopefully give you a sense of what one set of hands can ship in a year. The studio keeps shipping. Dispach finding a better home is the studio focusing, not the studio winding down.

Thank you for using Dispach. The fact that this product earned a real team taking it over with both more time and more focus than I could give it is the best possible outcome for the work. I'm grateful you helped get it here.
